We are a Voice for Life
Democrats for Life of Minnesota advocates respect for life, from the beginning of life to natural death. This includes, but is not limited to, opposition to abortion, capital punishment, and euthanasia. A good society is not achieved when each person seeks only his/her self-interest, but is born of a commitment to the common good.
We affirm that it is a fundamental purpose of government to protect the weak from social and economic injustice and to guarantee genuine equality of opportunity for all in their pursuit of happiness. Pro-life Democrats are committed to these principles. By working together, Democrats will bring the focus back to what is truly important – strong families and equal opportunity for all.
We will work to promote the best of the Democratic tradition.
